- Slide locking tab (2) into the unlocked position. Disconnect harness assembly (1) from differential pressure sensor (3).
- Remove differential pressure sensor (3) from manifold (4).
- Remove O-ring (5) (not shown) from differential pressure sensor (3).

- Remove absolute pressure sensor (8) from manifold (4).
- Remove O-ring seal (9) (not shown) from pressure sensor (8).

Illustration 3 g02453877 Show/hide tableIllustration 4 g02453879 - If necessary, follow Step 7.a through Step 7.g in order to remove manifold (4) and tube assemblies from the NOx Reduction System (NRS) manifold.
- Remove plastic breather tube from the crankcase breather cannister and the valve mechanism cover. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Crankcase Breather- Remove" for the correct procedure.
- Remove bolt (11) from tube assembly (13). Remove bolt (12) from clip for the tube assembly. Loosen hose clamp (14) from the hose for tube assembly (13).
- Remove tube assembly (13) from manifold (4) and the NRS manifold. Remove O-ring seals (10) (not shown).
- Remove bolt (15) from tube assembly (17). Remove bolt (18) from the clip for the tube assembly. Loosen hose clamp (23) from the hose for tube assembly (17).
- Remove tube assembly (17) from manifold (4) and the NRS manifold. Remove O-ring seals (16) (not shown).
- If necessary, remove connection (19) and connection (20) from the NRS manifold.
- Cut cable strap (21) from harness assemblies. Remove bolts (22) from manifold (4). Remove the manifold from the inlet elbow.

Ensure that wiring harness are correctly routed and the cable straps are not over tightened. Over tightening of the cable straps will damage the wiring harness convoluting. |
- Ensure that all components are clean and free from wear and damage. If necessary, replace any components that are worn or damaged. Ensure that all tube assemblies are clean and free from restriction.

Illustration 5 g02453879 Show/hide tableIllustration 6 g02453877 - If necessary, follow Step 2.a through Step 2.j in order to install manifold (4) and tube assemblies to the NOx Reduction System (NRS) manifold.
- If necessary, install connection (19) and connection (20) NRS manifold. Tighten connections to a torque of
9 N·m (80 lb in) . - Position manifold (4) onto the inlet elbow. Install bolts (22). Tighten the bolts to a torque of
22 N·m (195 lb in) . - Install new O-ring seals (16) (not shown) onto tube assembly (17). Install tube assembly (17) into manifold (4) and install bolt (15).
- Install hose for tube assembly (17) onto connection (20). Install bolt (18) for the clip for tube assembly (17).
- Tighten bolt (18) and bolt (15) to a torque of
22 N·m (195 lb in) . Securely tighten hose clamp (23). - Install new O-ring seals (10) (not shown) onto tube assembly (13). Install tube assembly (13) into manifold (4) and install bolt (11).
- Install hose for tube assembly (13) onto connection (19). Install bolt (12) to the clip for tube assembly (13).
- Tighten bolt (11) and bolt (12) to a torque of
22 N·m (195 lb in) . Securely tighten hose clamp (14). - Install plastic breather tube to the crankcase breather cannister and the valve mechanism cover. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Crankcase Breather- Install" for the correct procedure.
- Install a new cable strap (21) to harness assemblies.
Note: Ensure that cable straps meet the Original Equipment Manufactures (OEM) specification.

- Install a new O-ring seal (9) (not shown) to pressure sensor (8).
Note: Ensure that the O-ring seal is correctly seated onto the absolute pressure sensor.
- Install absolute pressure sensor (8) to the manifold. Tighten the absolute pressure sensor to a torque of
10 N·m (89 lb in) . - Connect harness assembly (7) to absolute pressure sensor (8). Slide locking tab (6) into the locked position.

Note: Ensure that the O-ring seal is correctly seated onto the differential pressure sensor.
- Install differential pressure sensor (3) to manifold (4). Tighten the differential pressure sensor to a torque of
10 N·m (89 lb in) . - Connect harness assembly (1) to the differential pressure sensor. Slide locking tab (2) into the locked position.
