1.1. Disassembly Procedure

Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

  1. Remove the load control valve (boom cylinder).

    Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.

    Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.


  1. Remove plug (9), O-ring seal (8), spacers (7), guide (6), spring (5), retainer (4), and poppet (3), and poppet (2) from load control valve (1).

  2. Remove plug assembly (13), O-ring seal (12), spring (11), and valve (10) from load control valve (1).

  3. Remove relief valve (14) from load control valve (1).

  4. Remove O-ring seals (16), (17), (19), (20), and (23). Remove ring seals (18) and (21).

  5. Remove plug assemblies (26), O-ring seals (25), and orifices (24) from load control valve (1).

  6. Remove plug assembly (37), O-ring seal (36), flow control valve (35), O-ring seal (34), O-ring seal (33), ring (32), pin (31), piston (30), shims (29), guide assembly (28), and O-ring seal (27) from load control valve (1).
