Start By:
- Release the system pressure. Refer to, "System Pressure - Release".
- Remove the cab. Refer to, "Cab - Remove".
Note: Put identification marks on all lines, on all hoses, on all wires, and on all tubes for installation purposes. Plug all lines, hoses, and tubes in order to prevent fluid loss and to keep contaminants from entering the system.

Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids. Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates. |
- Disconnect four hose assemblies (2) from the bottom of travel valve (1) .

- Disconnect hose assemblies (3) and (4) from the left side of travel valve (1) .

- Disconnect hose assemblies (6) and (7) from the bottom of pilot valve (5) for the boom swing.

- Remove bolt (9) and disconnect negative battery cable assembly (8) .

- Disconnect harness assemblies (10) and (11) .

- Disconnect hose assemblies (27) and (30) from selector valve (26). Repeat for the opposite side of selector valve (26). Disconnect hose assemblies (28) and (29) from selector valve (26). Repeat for the opposite side of selector valve (26) .

- Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to platform (31). The weight of platform (31) is approximately 204 kg (450 lb). Disconnect ground strap (33). Remove bolts (32) and remove platform (31) .
