  1. Position the machine onto suitable cribbing below the first roller. Ensure that the master pin is above the center line of the sprocket.

  1. Separate the track.

  1. Use two people in order to remove cover (2). The weight of cover (2) is approximately 30 kg (65 lb). Remove bolts (1) and cover (2) .

  1. Disconnect hose assemblies (4) .

  1. Remove bolts (3) and reposition valve assembly (3) .

  1. Attach a suitable lifting device to final drive (7). The combined weight of final drive (7) and the travel motor is approximately 435 kg (960 lb). Remove bolts (5). Remove final drive (7) and the travel motor as a unit.

  1. Remove bolts (9) and travel motor (8) .

Installation Procedure

  1. Install final drive (7) in the reverse order of removal.
