1.1. Disassembly Procedure

Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

  1. Remove the pilot valve. Refer to, "Pilot Valve (Blade) - Remove".

Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, thoroughly clean the exterior of the component in order to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.

Note: During the disassembly of the pilot valve, put identification marks on each component for assembly purposes.

  1. Remove boot (1) from the pilot valve assembly.

  1. Remove adjusters (2) from the pilot valve assembly.

  1. Remove bolts (3) and remove lever (4) from the pilot valve assembly.

  1. Loosen setscrew (5) .

  1. Remove pin (6) from the pilot valve assembly.

  1. Remove camdrive (7) from the pilot valve assembly.

  1. Remove bolts (8) and remove housing (9) from the pilot valve assembly.

  1. Remove sleeves (10). Remove rod (11) from sleeves (10). Remove O-ring seal (12) from sleeves (10) .

  1. Remove shims (13) .

  1. Remove spool assembly (14) .

  1. Remove the following items from spool assembly (14) : bolt (15) (not shown), sleeve (16), spring (17), shims (18) and washer (19) .

  1. Remove spool assembly (20) .

  1. Remove the following items from spool assembly (20) : bolt (21) (not shown), collar (22) (not shown), sleeve (23), spring (24), shims (25) and washer (26) .

  1. Remove springs (27) .
