Description Of Change: A new main control valve group is now used on the machine listed above. The new main control valve group has an improved direct acting, screened pressure reducing valve (PRV). The previous PRV design contained multiple small internal components that were sensitive to contamination. The new main control valve for 308E2 CR also has a new auxiliary control section, that allows for the installation of an adjustable relief valve.
Adaptable To: The new main control is effective and adaptable to the machines listed in Table 4. Refer to Table 5 for the new part number of the main control valve.

The former pressure reducing valve (PRV)
The new main control valve group for 308E2 CR has a new auxiliary control section. The new auxiliary control section can allow the install of adjustable relief valve group kit
Refer to Special Instruction, M0067494, "Installation Procedure for Auxiliary Relief Valves on Certain 308E2 CR Mini Hydraulic Excavators with an Updated Main Control Valve" for the installation procedure of the relief valves.
Note: The 456-1861 Relief Valve Gp can only be installed to the 449-1585 Main Control Valve Gp on 308E2 CR machines.

Front Lines Group
New tube assemblies are used within the 439-7714 Front Lines Gp.
The new tubes are required when using the new 467-3072 Main Control Valve Gp on 308E2 CR machines.
