Description of Change: New machine Electronic Control Module (ECM) software is now used. The new machine software is a direct replacement for the previous machine software. This new machine software has been updated not to log an event of "Engine Oil Pressure Low" status. Previously, whenever "Low Engine Oil Pressure" status was detected by the pressure sensor, a status signal was generated in the ADEM engine controller. The ADEM engine controller logged the status signal with event code EID360. At the same time, the status signal was transferred to the machine ECM. The machine ECM activated to display a warning message of "Engine Oil Press Low" in the cab monitor. The machine ECM logged this status signal with event code EID100. The different event codes logged in the ADEM engine controller and machine ECM resulted in confusion troubleshooting the problem.
Adaptable To: If the machine has one of the former software part numbers installed, flash the machine ECM with the new software in Table 1. The new software is effective with and adaptable to the serial numbers that are listed in Table 2. The new software is available in the form of a flash file through AVSpare Service Information System (SIS).
