Description of Change: A Check Valve Kit is now available for the air cleaner assembly on certain Backhoe Loaders. The Check Valve Kit can be installed in order to prevent the air cleaner from pulling hot air from the muffler, if the air cleaner tubes become clogged with debris.
Blocked air cleaner tubes may result if a machine is operating in an environment that is likely to cause airborne debris. The engine is unable to pull fresh air through the grill, if the air cleaner tubes are blocked. The engine pulls hot exhaust gases back into the air cleaner when the air cleaner tubes are blocked with debris. Blocked air cleaner tubes can lead to overheated air in the air lines.
Note: Check and clean any debris in the air cleaner assembly and in the grill.

- Assemble Hose (1), Check Valve As (2), Tube (3), and Hose (5). Install Hose Clamp (4) .

- Install Hose Clamp (7 ) and Hose Clamp (8) onto Hose (1). Position the components of the Check Valve Kit. Secure Hose Clamps (4), (7), and (8) .
